Snapmaker 2 A350 3 in 1

I recently acquired a dream machine, the Snapmaker 2.0 A350T 3D Printer, a 3 in 1 unit supporting 3D Printing, Laser Engraving, and CNC Carving. I purchase it used at the 2024 Raleigh hamfest as a complete unit. The previous owner had upgraded the printer with a dual extruder for two color 3D printing, and a quick swap system to change the tools. The printer is in a laser safe enclosure and there are options to increase the laser up to 40W. The CNC can be upgraded to a 200W CNC Module.

The entire unit sits on a kitchen cabinet with casters so it can be moved easily in the shop. There is sufficient storage space to keep all the parts in one location. I have a collection of various 3D Printer projects saved for the future and I am looking forward to making some items to support my new wood lathe.  My old JGAurora printer was given to my son-in-law to use, as I no longer needed it and I need the space in the garage.

Being old school, I am learning how to use a CAD program. I did not take any technical drawing classes in school, so I now understand the talents my father had as a master draftsman. While he was still alive, he started using rudimentary computer drafting software, and I am sure he would be impresses with the current state of the art. Creating a product from a technical drawing can all be done on the computer and sent to the printer.
